Hammock Full-Body Stretch & Inversion Therapy (Hip Height)

This is a slow, full-body stretching session using the hammock tied at hip height. The practice focuses on supported shapes, longer holds, and intentional transitions, with time spent in gentle inversions to encourage decompression through the spine and shoulders.

While the pace is unhurried, this is not a passive practice. Inversions can feel intense depending on your body and experience, and this session is best approached with curiosity, patience, and the option to come out of shapes as needed.

This video works well:

  • as a recovery-focused practice

  • between more active aerial sessions

  • or when your body feels compressed, stiff, or heavy

This style of work mirrors how we often use the hammock for yoga in the studio—slow, supported, and purposeful—allowing the body time to respond rather than pushing for depth or range.
