Low Hammock Hip & Spine Decompression - 15 Min.
This 15-minute low hammock stretching session focuses on gentle decompression through the hips and spine using longer holds and supported shapes. The hammock is set at shin height to allow the body to settle, soften, and release without rushing or forcing range of motion.
This practice is especially helpful if you’re feeling compressed through the hips or lower back, or if you’re looking for a short session to support recovery between classes. While the pace is slow, the sensations can be strong—move thoughtfully and come out of shapes as needed.
This session works well:
between more active aerial practices
as a recovery-focused stretch
or when you want a nervous system reset without committing to a longer class
The approach mirrors how we often use the low hammock in the studio.
